POP studio

Poppy trained as a weaver at Central Saint Martins in London, before joining Cockpit Arts as part of their Clothworkers Award. She is now based in Brighton where she dyes, weaves and produces her work using mindful production methods and materials.

Yarns are carefully sourced and hand dyed using natural materials and innovative techniques. The fabric is then woven on a Harris loom, before being hand-finished and shaped into it’s final form.

Poppy works intuitively with plant dyes, which give varied results depending on the season and how they are processed after harvest. This is an important part of the process for her and connects her work to the natural world.

POP STUDIO aims to create heirloom pieces which can sit beautifully in any home or gallery. The shop features a range of artworks, objects and accessories where each item is unique and has been consciously created.
